You should probably stop calling them a fellow fan. X being honest is never contrived or calculated. Her silence over the years now makes perfect sense. I doubt she's playing broken because thats what sells..to all of us its very clear that SOMETHING was going on, we just didnt know what, and she wasn't speaking on it. Tell your friend to rewind the past 6 years a bit.

I told her that I'm completely happy with this era and don't need her negativity. It just felt so hurtful towards X to say that her and her team would use her pain and present her as broken.

We were right when we said she had lost her drive, passion and direction in music. But it's obvious this time she HAS found it again and now she's really re-inspired to be that artist that we loved. I'm glad she has because she was just too good of a talent to go to waste.
