I have a friend who supported Hillary and we always had civil conversations about the election, but I got a little too blunt once and I could tell it made him uncomfortable, so I never brought up politics again :rip: it's a balancing act with friends. Some thrive off debating (me!), but others are more sensitive, so you have to know when it might compromise your friendship and back off.

My advice is to ask your friend a bunch of questions instead of intensely disagreeing with her. Get a better idea of her thoughts.

Also, I'm no math genius  but it made me a smarter thinker by challenging myself.
Going to the mall rn, I'll reply when I get back

And I would never let politics get in the way. I mean I didn't care for when she supported McCain or even Romney. Trump and Pence are just different imo, and even she realized it until she decided they were the last hope.

Also I saw some tweets about Golden Gates NPS posting a MLK quote today about defying laws but haven't really been able to verify that.

Apparently more policing of African American neighborhoods and unconstitutional stop & frisk's will fix the problem. He's truly an authoritarian.

LOL, I mean, did anyone truly think Mexico was going to pay for his wall of shame? It'll be funny to watch him get clocked over this though.

Well not only that, any POC walking in a predominantly white neighborhood or shopping downtown could be faulted with stop and frisk. It's ridiculous!

Donald Trump set to ‘eliminate arts funding programs’, cutting off NPR and PBS

Let me start looking at Canada for my future.

Why though? :awk: if Republicans want to slash the deficit, then why not aim for actual costly programs? NPR and PBS barely make a dent if you take into account their revenue streams and private endowments.

Didn't he say recently that taxpayers would pay for it and Mexico would reimburse us? This project is such a waste of resources and energy :noway:

Probably because they are generally "liberal leaning".

Anyways, first the gag order and now this.

Personally I will be furious if he cuts arts funding. I was literally just talking about how I grew up in the arts.
